To organize chaos is chaotic in itself.
My work is an oxymoron. It is a representation of my inner-peace war. An unconscious awareness of ideas that convey a harmonious discord. An obvious subtlety of unbalanced coherence.
Through bold action painting and different unconventional materials and tools, I portray colors, marks, and textures in a high-contrast energetic stillness. Or, as I like to call it, an organized chaos.
By mixing different mediums —inks, gouache, acrylics, primer, graphite, charcoal, pastels, etc.— I create works full of layers and depth. I see my work as minimalist in design but deep and rich in its history. It intuitively portrays the flow of a harmonious push and pull, represented in the exploration of marks, textures, and colors that are ultimately embodied in the energetic stillness of my compositions.
